Transcription runs entirely on your device. The first time you use Scrib, it downloads the speech-recognition model (size is shown before you confirm). After that, transcription works offline — no internet needed.
Scrib needs microphone access to record. If you declined the permission, enable it in Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone > Scrib.
On your device only. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. See our privacy policy.
